SPS and Nipa Brew host Commservation Workshop
On Saturday, February 2, 2019, Save Philippine Seas is hosting its first open Commservation Workshop for the year in partnership with Nipa Brew, Filipino handcrafted beverages brewed for adventure. SPS and Nipa have been partners since 2015 for various events.
The Commservation Workshop will have two sessions: Developing Your Project Pitch and Public Speaking.
Developing Your Project Pitch: Learn how to turn your idea/s into a project pitch and present it to a panel, your bosses, peers, or potential investors/funders. In this workshop, we'll answer what elements are in a strong project pitch, and what makes a project pitch memorable. For this session, Raffy Magno, public servant and social entrepreneur, will serve as the resource speaker.
Public Speaking: This workshop, led by Anna Oposa, aims to build speaking and presenting skills, and offer tips and tricks on communicating your message effectively in front of a crowd, whether it's a in a board room with 10 people or an audience of 1,000 people. Anna brings years of experience as a musical theatre performer, public speaker, and project manager into the workshop.
The Commservation Workshop will be held in the Nipa Brewhouse & Taproom, Solace Hotel, Makati from 2:00-6:00PM. The Commservation Workshop fee is P1,000, inclusive of a flight of beer (four 120mL servings of different craft beers, served at the end of the workshop). The workshop is open to all ages and backgrounds, but alcohol will only be served to participants 18 years old and above.
